Item of the Week-Circuit Tank

Hi Ladies, Once again it is time for the "item of the week" My fellow blogger and I tried on this amazing running top at the Lululemon at Union Square (also available online) It comes in this salmon color (pictured here), white and yellow and retails at about 49 dollars. Available in sizes 4-12
What we thought:
1) Nice cut for the bust, makes you chest (big or small) look amazing
2) No built in sportsbra
3) Super lightweight
4) This is top has small silver threads woven into it to make it anti-microbial (no stinky smells) and anti static
5)Flattering lines at the bust, and check website for slimming back view photo as well.
Now... we'd like to see what you readers think.
1) Would you buy this top at this price if you were pleased with the fit? yes or no
2) Out of all the benefits we listed and website listed, which benefit was your favorite:
a-styling
b-technical details
c-comfort
d-other (please list!)
3) Any additional comments?
(Click on the "item of the week" title for the direct link to the Lululemon page with this product)

It's hard to comment on it without a try on, but among the features I have been looking for in a running top like this is pockets. It seems that only tops made for cycling have back pockets. I don't know about you but I usually run with: one or two tissues, a metrocard, an insurance card, sometimes a $20 bill... Most tops and pants/tights have no pockets, and I have a hard time finding shorts that do. I just happened to find this blog today and haven't read the archive but maybe you should do a survey of runners who use pockets...

  2. Thank you for your input Catherine. What do you think about a pocket in your sports bra? Do you usually store keys etc in your sports bra?

  3. 1) I would buy it.
2)styling. My running clothes are all very functional it would be fun to have something nice and "girly"

  4. I think Lululemon prices their clothes too high. I would pay $35 for this top - max. The most important factors are comfort (seams), fit (if it is long enough), and technical fabric (for wicking and breathability). The cute colors and added style are just added bonuses!

Ultimately, if this top was on sale...I would definitely buy it!

  5. 1-can't tell if this top is supposed to be fitted or not? if it is fitted, then i'd say no-i just prefer fitted tops to have a sportsbra built in.
2-styling, i do like the look of the top!
3-re: pockets on running tops-check out the Fizz Tank by Sugoi...i have 4 of those and absolutely love them!!
