Item of the week: Moisture Wicking Capris

Welcome back! This week's item is from one of my favorite shopping destinations. Who say's fashionable running clothing can't be cheap sometimes?

These moisture wicking capris are from Old Navy and retail for a suprisingly low $16.50, so I had to get a pair.

Some of the benefits include:
-Smooth, quick-drying fabric stretches with you for optimal performance
-Exposed stitching, which breaks up the body and makes you look slim.
-16" inseam is a good length for me. They end at about my knees (i'm 5'3")

So our question is, do any of you fashionable runners shop at Old Navy or a store similar (which one) for running/excercise clothes?

What do you like/dislike about their current athletic wear products?

  1. I have a pair of their long pants from a few years back. They are really comfy but since I'm tall (5'11) they are a bit highwater-ish. I tend not to wear them outside of my house.

I've been tempted to try some of their new products. They have some really bright, flattering looking, tanks!

  2. Yes, I agree in the past they did not have much in the way of work out wear. But recently, i've purchased a few items i liked for running/yoga including these capris, a bright purple nylon halter tank, and a few their good old fashion ribbed cotton tanks.

  3. Looks like the Gap/Old Navy/etc. family has just established their own women's athletic clothing brand, Athleta I haven't checked it out in detail yet but looked briefly...interesting selections!!
